Slope Cares wants to express gratitude towards these non-profit agencies who devote their time to filling in the gaps for parents and caregivers and providing children with opportunities for inclusion
We offer one-on-one parent support, private online discussion forums, and virtual support groups, and we inform caregivers of public policy opportunities.
We offer free healthcare advocacy to ensure children with disabilities can access the health coverage they need to thrive. Additionally, we host Caregiver Conversations to discuss topics related to healthcare coverage. We also advocate for systematic changes at the policy level.
Special Olympics created this program in 2007 to reach children with intellectual disabilities ages 2 1/2 to 7 and welcome them and their families to the Special Olympics movement.
The mission of Rocky Mountain Down Syndrome Association Western Slope is to assure inclusion and enhance independence.
If you would be interested in volunteering here at Slope Cares and helping us stay on top of upcoming events, we would love to find a place for you on the team!
